Golive 9 is a trainwreck. For anybody who has been using the software for years (and various versions), their decisions to force CSS on every minute aspect of your website is appalling. I use CSS for many aspects of my sites, but I also want to control table sizes manually without CSS, and now I cannot. If I make any adjustments to a table I set in a previous version of Golive, it stacks CSS data on top of itself for every move, and then all hell breaks loose, the tables explode to 5000 pixels wide and worse, and trying to correct what it does only makes it worse. It's a complete nightmare. I have existing client websites that I cannot open in Golive 9 without fear of imploding, and my use of MenuMachine makes it difficult to move to Dreamweaver. Adobe needs to pull it's fat head out and remember that Golive used to be part of the "Pro" Creative Suite and that many of their customers had methodologies that predate their marketing goals of turning this software into a toy for dabblers. Adobe treats it's user base with such arrogance and contempt, pulling the rug out from under them after establishing a seeming trust, reassuring them that their investment in purchasing and learning expensive software is sound. I understand that things change and we have to adapt, but that doesn't justify their ethics. Unfortunately the users of now discontinued or downgraded (crippled) software have no alternative. Welcome to Microsoft Adobe.
