System requirements 10.4.7 Minimum.
As Apple does no longer support my Dual G5 since 10.4.3 (Fan-Problem), I had to downgrade to Itunes 7.2.

Only for 10.4.7 - barryaus

I had a fan problem on my G5 iMac with an earlier version of 10.4. What it was was that after going into single user mode and then booting normally the fans ran at full blast. I found out that unplugging the machine (after shutting down of course) and then plugging it back in solved that problem. Possibly the poster can try that to see if it fixes his fan problems.
