This is a wonderful tool. You never know when some garbage will show up on the screen. Whenever my young son and I are doing research, looking for new games, etc., stuff I prefer he not see comes up. With this tool my worries are much reduced. It's very easy to turn this on and off as needed. Of course, it won't block stuff you are purposely trying to view, but this is great for those of us who choose to not see this stuff.
