So I just bought a $100 mouse - the MX Revolution - [luckily it didn't actually cost that much, in the end] and the included CD is filled entirely with Windows drivers. Not even a "Mac User? Click here." sort of thing.
In *very tiny print* on page 3 of the very minimal 4 language Instruction Fold-Out, is mentioned, "Macintosh users: Download Logitech Control Center software from www.logitech.com/mxrevolution/software and follow the online instructions for installation."
Try that and for your trouble get: "Not Found
The requested object does not exist on this server. The link you followed is either outdated, inaccurate, or the server has been instructed not to let you have it."
I'm really enjoying my Customer Experience so far!
Eventually I find the CURRENT link to the software, download it, install, authenticate, restart and what do I get for my trouble?
Open Logitech Control Center (all the while, by the way, USING my new Logictech MX Revolution mouse!) and what do I see? "No Logitech Device Found."
Well, IDIOT SOFTWARE, it's right here in my hand. What's the problem?
As of right now, I don't know.
Nice mouse. However, these folks obviously do NOT have a clue about how to build Macintosh software.
