Interface Better, Operation Not

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Have been using HandBrake for some time. The older interface was difficult to manage and not intuitive. New interface is better but still needs a fair amount of work to intuitive and operate in a mac-like fashion.

The big rub is that this version frequently produces video that has only the first 1/3 of the movie audio. After that, silence. This is an error in the basic conversion of TVOD to MPEG-4 AVC as the video has already had it's copy protection removed as part of my backup process... already on my hard disk.

I just want to keep my video library in iTunes so my AppleTV can play it and my kids don't destroy or lose the dvds.

Appreciate the effort, thanks for the hard work. Software still needs some TLC and design changes before it is a true Mac application.
