I've had WeatherManX and WeatherMenu for years and have been very happy except for occasional glitches when the national weather service changes how it maintains its website.
I emailed the developer a couple of days ago and indicated forecasts were not loading and others were complaining about lack of response from him. He emailed me back within two days directing me to a new update. He suggested I delete cities I was having trouble with and add them again. That did the trick.

Then why all the complaints here? - chezmac
Be honest John. As you can see by all of the postings on this forum, the developer usually doesn't answer emails and that's a terrible way to do business. What's wrong with "x number of days?" as felix01 asked? Sometimes the developer writes back, but mostly never. There wouldn't be so many complaints on Versiontracker if that weren't true. Just take a look at the complaints for WeatherManX on Afterten's forum:http://www.afterten.com/support/index.php
I'd hate to think that you are implying that the rest of us were not telling the truth. That's not a very nice thing to say.
If you want to play "he's here, he's not, he's here, he's not" with customer support on a paid product, that's fine for you, but as for the rest of us, we can't count on the developer to be there when we need him, especially when the US Weather Service does its updates.

Developer has always answered my emails.... - MarkSealey
Same here, I'm afraid: various things stopped working some time ago. Have written to both addresses I have for the developer several times. Nothing.Saturday, September 08 2007 @ 03:50 PM PDT

Give me a workable e-mail address!! - Felix01
What e-mail address did you use? Those of us further down who can't get a response from the developer when using the address on his web page would like an address that actually results in a response.I'd like to find these 'developer always answers within x days' responses credible but that hasn't been my experience.
So post the address you claim works!!
