This is a great idea but it does not replace a flash drive by any means, because the volume will not mount. The only way to access the data is with this application. so the bottom line, you can only share data with users that have iPhoneDrive on their Macs.

Try scp - matt68000

For the more computer literate among us, I get my copy functionality (and access to the entire file system) by using secure copy. Just install ssh on your iPhone and any computer with ssh/scp clients (which is every windows, Mac and Linux box I use) can now copy files back and forth on the command line. Granted, you are someone limited by the 802.11 speed but it works great for moving docs back and forth from work.
