I had high hopes for this program, having tried most of the timekeeping software out there. I bought the program based on a week's worth of using it and before I had tried printing an invoice because I assumed, based on the developer's description, that printing an invoice would be a snap.
Well, it is -- but not if you want to specify a specific date range for your invoice, for example to cover time billed during a particular month. To me, this is an absolutely basic function of any program that calls itself an integrated timekeeping-billing program, yet TimeNet doesn't do it -- unless you want to start a new "project" for each time period.
I'm also really disappointed in their tech support, where posts both on their support board and directly to their tech support guru went unanswered for over a week ... and counting.
What's more, the only way to export is to an RTF file, which has meant that I spent hours converting my data via various workarounds to an excel format where I was able to finally turn it into an invoice covering the period I wanted.
I'm giving the program two stars rather than one because what it does it does reasonably well, but between the lack of support and the inability to do a monthly invoice, my heart says it only deserves one.
I'm now testing OfficeTime. First thing I did was confirm that It can produce basic invoices for any designated period. I also got a response on a tech support issue within 24 hours.

I'm sorry for the issue you had with our tech support. We really do pride ourselves on fast and friendly support. Last week I had to leave town on a family emergency. No excuse, I know, but that is the reason the email went unanswered for a few days. I have replied to your emails and your forum posts. You're actually the first person to request this feature, believe it or not. It is on the to-do list for the 4.0 release which will be out by the end of the month.
Thanks!
