Betas are NOT demos

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

As a licensed Saft user and lover of the product I was excited to install and test the beta version for Safari 3. It works flawlessly for me (OSX 10.4.1) but what I don't appreciate is having my workflow interrupted every ten minutes by a "Thanks for trying Saft demo" pop up. I've already paid for this software and last time I checked beta and demo weren't interchangeable. I'm uninstalling until the final release and will reconsider then.

Betas are NOT demos - ratpoison

I think you just grabbed the wrong version. Go to:

http://haoli.dnsalias.com/Saft/Download/index.html

look down a few lines until you reach

"Download full version of Saft for Safari 3 Public Beta using Saft for Safari 3 download page."

which is just before the date on that page.

It's not invisible, it's just that versiontracker only links the demo version, and you really want to download the registered version.

Hao Li is pretty responsive if you have problems with your password etc.

Betas are NOT demos - Sirpete

Maybe you should download the full version then?

There is a link for just that on the page.
