Hey BlockSoft, Since you don't have any contact info on your website, I'm forced to publish this apparent iConiCal DISK PERMISSIONS PROBLEM. iConiCal users: Please run "Repair Disk Permissions" on your macs. Here's the response: User differs on ./Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/App-empty.icns, should be 0, owner is 501 Permissions differ on ./Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/App-empty.icns, should be -rw-rw-r-- , they are -rw-r--r-- Owner and group corrected on ./Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/App-empty.icns Permissions corrected on ./Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/App-empty.icns User differs on ./Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/App.icns, should be 0, owner is 501 Permissions differ on ./Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/App.icns, should be -rw-rw-r-- , they are -rw-r--r-- Owner and group corrected on ./Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/App.icns Permissions corrected on ./Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/App.icns When repaired, the problem recurs after logoff or restarts. Admittedly, I am unaware if this apparent problem condition is detrimental, but I'm not taking any chances until BlockSoft replies.

iConiCal Disk Permissions Problem - BlockSoft

Thanks for your reply. My email address can be found both within the application (in the help menu), and within the folder in which iConiCal came. This isn't a problem as such, it just means that those files, which are ones created by iConiCal, don't have the permissions which the system expects. iConiCal replaces these two files with ones which allow the correct date to be shown, these are only small icon files, and so it isn't a huge problem. Whilst they can now be written to by anyone logged into your system (as opposed to being read only, as they normally would be), they don't contain any data at all, only the application icons.

Uh, the developer's contact info is right in the "Read Me", as well as the app's "About" window. Duh.
