Product Platform: MacOS

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

I have quite a few clients still using OS 9, and iCab is the only browser that still works with most secure websites (e.g., online banking, stock trading, etc.). Netscape 7.0.2 will open most websites also, but it is so slow and loaded up with AOL bloat and email junk as to be almost useless.

iCab is quick and clean, and has been updated regularly. Thanks to it's developer for keeping up an OS 9 browser long after the big boys dropped all OS 9 support.

You've got to be kidding - westbankal

We're talking about icab here. In the classic mac section. Perhaps he's talking about a PC version
Or, maybe this guy ONLY has icab and hasn't been able to get back here to modify his comments since he's been waiting since the fall of 2007 for the page to open...

He made his review in July of 2007 while using iCab 3.03. ICab 3.05 came out in January of 2008, and then you made your reply in July 2008. I assume you made your reply after using 3.05, and there are other good reviews of 3.03, but all bad reviews of 3.05, so I'm guessing both of us should download 3.03 instead.
