For those who are having trouble mounting the disk image, here is a workaround.

Open the disk image in Disk Utility, and use that software to convert it.

Converting the disk image will make a version of the image that will mount.

I don't know why the original isn't mounting, but hopefully the developer will be able to fix that in the next version.

I don't think information on how to install from the disk image that is downloaded is "garbage", I do think unfair criticism sent three times is garbage.
