$30 for this, or $40 for File Buddy 9. Speed on FB is incredible compared to this. make coffee in the time this finds all the files FB find in 5 seconds.
The icon should tell any serious user enough.

Both applications seem to me overpriced for their relatively obscure utility, but my wife says I'm a dinosaur who has been run over by inflation.I hardly think an icon is a reasonable criterion for evaluating any application, however--none of them these days seems comparable to the dogcow of ancient Macintosh--I suspect our correspondent never intended to "put this politely" after all.

Seems a bit harsh. If price is the issue, state that, but rate the program on its merits or lack thereof. Slowness is a legitimate issue to discuss, but depends on what the program ultimately accomplishes compared to FB. I have TidyUp, but haven't ussed it enough to respond directly to your rant, but still feel that you're panning a program based on two items out of hundreds upon which to base a reasonable opinion.Reply to This
