I have been using Data Backup for over a year and am quite pleased with its ability to create bootable clones of my mac on external firewire hard drives. All programs on the clone work flawlessly. When backing up a portion of a drive, I use a file compare program to verify that I have an exact duplicate. If Data Backup reports no errors, the file compare program always indicates I have made an exact duplicate. I recently called tech support regarding backup difficulties a client of mine was having. I was able to get through quickly and got good support in solving the incorrect settings the client was using.

In the future, I would like to see a feature which would allow me to schedule backup sets which could be locked. That way, clients who are curious but not computer adept could read log files but not change settings.
