Sorry, folks. There were some things missing in 4.2.9 and 4.2.10. Fortunately, one of the things that worked seems to have been then new "Check for Updates" feature. If you got Bookdog 4.2.9 or 4.2.10 yesterday or earlier today, or if you tried "Check for Updates" earlier today and got "Error extracting archive", please use menu Check for Updates to get the latest version. (It's either in the Help menu or Bookdog menu)
