No problems to report with my iMac Dual Core w/1GB (MacIntel) or with my eMac G4 w/384 MB (PPC) both running OSX 10.4.10
Obviously it runs a lot faster on the MacIntel for many reasons.
I've run a LimeWire Pro server for almost 4 years, 24/7 , on both Mac's with multiple applications open and surf the net all at once without any slowdowns or problems. Simply because I took the time to fine tune LimeWire instead of whining about it. If I can run PhotoShop CS2 , LimeWire Pro, Safari and Command & Conquer on my old eMac G4 ALL AT THE SAME TIME with a measly 384 MB's of ram , then the only excuse anyone has for LimeWire being slow is themselves & their ignorance.
If you can't figure out the settings and constantly flood your bandwidth to the point of the "spinning cursor of death" stalls or can't find anything but fakes because your too lazy to train your filters then buy a Windows box , you don't deserve a Mac.
If your new to LimeWire , just remember it's like a puppy, you have to teach it and train it.
