Transmission goes FLAT OUT - but only IF you have forwarded a port correctly (as with any P2P software). This enables peers to connect directly to you, rather than via the swarm! See the Transmission site to learn how to do it. Also, limit your upload - again, see the website for details.

transmission uses UPnP... just allow your router to use UPnP and transmission will open the ports it needs on its own!Reply to This
