This is top-notch shareware but anyone considering it needs to be aware the developer is not currently supporting it. They claim to but Tex-Edit is not a Universal binary yet (and there is no date as to when it will be, just "I'll get to it"). Had to move to another text editor after several years, which was disappointing.

Beyond just the satisfaction of knowing it is universal, what would you gain? Or put another way, what do you see holding you back now if it is not universal?I use TE+ everyday on a 17" MBP and I don't see any error messages or special slowdowns because of this.

That's harsh. Maybe it does, but that is no basis for two stars, not for this old gem, whose developer keeps updating it and never charging a penny for improvements. Why not just add a comment instead?Reply to This
