After looking into the package, it seems to be various nVidia GeForce drivers used in the MBP. Would it have killed Apple to include a bit more details or is it Company Policy of Late to be so vague on what's getting updated... Since they have dropped the Computer in their names, it seems like their focus is indeed turned.

Maybe this lack of info just a further projection of Apple's style since OSX:that of making everything as easy, and 'under-the-hood' as possible; The marketing/stylistic concept seems to be "We know what the user will want, don't make him/her think about it - give em photos, music and tv/movies, and they don't wanna know how or why it works."As personal computing approaches AI levels, we may have no choice - it may be the only way, and Apple sees it first and makes a buck on catching the trend, riding the first wave of it; No-brainer computing (an oxymoron?)
Personally, I miss OS9 and earlier, when you could customize the UI more: monkey with extensions without being a Unix scholar. . . For increasing market share, and differentiating from Windows, it works, but it turns off the semi-geek in me.

Perhaps it is related to the plethora of bugs recently announced by Intel in the Core 2 Duo. Microsoft has appeared to have started pushing updates this week.Reply to This
