Why so many updates all the time?

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

This product simply changes the way the save settings work, right?
It seems like 3 or 4 times a month I see updates for it.
Sure, that means it has good customer support, but if it's such a simple thing, then why would you need it?

Why so many updates all the time? - kcar27

I think you see a lot of notices for *beta* releases. Default Folder really doesn't get updated that frequently, mainly because the x.0 releases are so well debugged.

Trust me--this is a great piece of software. A lot of major Mac sites--MacWorld and MacNN among them, IIRC--list Default Folder in their essential software lists.

The Finder should have had DF's features built in *long* ago--and no, they're not showing up in Leopard. If you do a lot of opening and saving of files, you'll love DF.
