I greatly appreciate Fusion's unique ability to run 64-bit virtual machines configured with multiiple CPUs, and the attention VMware paid to timer issues. When guest operating systems are idle, Fusion imposes almost no load on my system. In contrast, Parallels seems to cause constant disk chatter and moderate CPU load.
