Drive Genius has been on the market for over two full years now and has won top awards from every major Mac magazine. Drive Genius is also one of the top selling utilities in the Apple stores. In fact, Drive Genius is used every single day at the Apple Stores Genius Bar (for the Defrag feature, as part of the ProCare Tune Up program).
Besides all the major award-winning functions that Drive Genius offers, it also offers something that is priceless for most customers and that is real-live-technical support. Most other companies are shying away from that, instead only offering FAQs on their website and trying to pass that off as "support". With Prosoft Engineering, you can actually call and talk to a live person who's there to help you or guide you. If you live overseas, we recommend Skype or similar service to use when calling..
Take a look at the competing companies' websites. What are their technical support hours that they answer the phones? Some don't have live tech support while others charge you $30 a call after the first 30 days...Some just tell you: "Hey, don't call us, we don't want to talk to you on the phone..just use our FAQs or send us an email". I don't know about you, but if I'm to trust a utility with my hard drive, i better be able to give them a call if i run into any problem...
Here's some great reading: http://www.coriolis-systems.com/refund-policy.php

This is a good argument. Support is very important. I really don't know if the people behind iDefrag, iPartition, SuperDuper and Apple’s Disk Utility grant a good customer support/helpline/live-support. I have no experience. Till now I avoided this situation by maintaining my system with competent tools. Knock on wood …But I suppose that you have verified that these companies don't have a good support(??)
As I can see no argumentation from your part against my more technical points of the comparison of the above mentioned software and drive genius, may I be right if I think you agree with me??! I.e. drive genius compared to the above mentioned tools offers nothing but a rudimentary "demo" of their possibilities.
Greetings
