Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Installed 10.4.10 update and restarted. Then I launched Parallels Desktop build 4128 and clicked the start button to resume a suspended session. BOOM - immediate reboot of the system without warning. What the.....????

A second re-boot is fairly common with recent updates. If you start running before that, the system may well go ahead and do the second reboot without you! :)

I definitely got a second reboot with this upgrade. Sounds like the previous replier got it right: it was probably just the system doing the reboot without you.

um... you should close all applications before running an update... i dont know how you think an open session of a virtual operating system would not be affected by an update of the operating system it is running on top of
