So far, looks promising (just started the campaign) but looks problematic. The camera controls are a bit frustrating, especially for the space battle where the camera angle is almost reversed to what would seem natural. I'm suspecting that there is a control to rotate the camera angle but it doesn't seem to be anywhere in the documentation or the help menu which makes it either a bug or bad documentation. Even worse though, I'm running into an occasional bug where the camera goes into a whirling dervish, making it impossible to do anything. I'm also rather unhappy about the computer's tendency to put you into fights immediately before one has a chance to assign hot keys, making it even harder to control the space battles. Perhaps it'll be better after further play. Any suggestions welcome, especially about the camera control issues.

I wanted to edit this but Versiontracker doesn't seem to allow one to do that any more. By poking around on Google I found that the camer control issue has caused a lot of complaints. Apparently there is a fix though. What you do is go to the game options and select the checkbox for two-button rotate. After you do this, you can rotate the screen when holding down both mouse buttons. It's awkward but it does work. Just in general, though, this whole issue seems reflective of a general lack of refinement in the playabilty aspects. I'm not too impressed.
