I ordered the upgrade with 1 year mx via a call to customer support over 2 weeks ago. I was told that I'd receive a confirmation email within 24-48 hours. I called back 3 days later after not getting any confirmation and was told they were swamped and I'd be getting a notice shortly. I called again Tues (12 June) and was told my order would be "express" processed. I called back today (15 June) and cancelled the entire order.

I guarantee that VMWare will not have customer service issues. Service this bad doesn't deserve anyone's support.

Reviewing the product. I think v3.0 is the most unstable version since the early betas. I've had it crash on me on three occasions while trying to upgrade the tools.
