Argh! Uninstalling Safari does not fix the problem. I want my dock back. Please!

Resetting the dock with TD using the saved dock from initial setup did not work for me. Had to re-install 10.4.9 combo update. That fixed it.

Yes, this really sucks. I came looking for a newer version, but all I found was bad news. TransparentDock is almost better than having Safari 3. But not quite.

What options are there?

Some things I customized still work, like the dock sticking to the bottom right. But I can't see anything else that sticks.

Yuck:-(

Can someone comment on whether 2.3.9 works with OS 10.4.9 (PPC)? I've read that it hasn't - but these comments suggest otherwise.

While you're at it, is 2.3.9 compatible with the new 10.4.10?

Transparent Dock 2.3.9 works fine with OS 10.4.9 and 10.4.10. It's just Safari Beta 3 that stops TD from working, since the new Safari also installs a newer version of the Dock that TD doesn't like.
