Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I've installed the new Safari on a MacBook, MacBook Pro (newest model), and PowerMac G5. It installed and ran without a hitch on all three machines using multiple tabs, flash, quicktime, and other media intensive sites. I really like the new find feature as quite honestly I often had a hard time finding a word I searched for with the old light blue highlight system. Also, the ability to rearrange tabs is a nice feature as is the text box resize.

However, as far as I can tell, that's all. Not much for a version jump from 2 to 3. I was really hoping the next version of Safari would bring some true innovation. I guess I'll have to settle for subtle improvements this time around.

As for the negative reviews. I've never seen such a bunch of pithy, unhelpful comments on VT before (except for Microsoft products). I myself do not run any Safari third party hacks. If you do, please list them. Also, what computer are you running? Did you try any troubleshooting? Those kinds of comments are a lot more helpful for potential users than "the only thing good about it is the uninstaller."
