I tried web confidential and password wallet, hoping to find something that would sync with the palm, which they did OK, but it was just too much work to enter everything into them and in the end I didn't use them.
Once I heard about 1Passwd, I tried it out and it was just great. It pulled in passwords from the browsers and remembered (most) new ones and then I can pick which one to use. Good attention to detail: when opening 1Passwd from the browser button menu, it tried to match saves passwords to the site you were currently browsing. It seems to have stopped doing this recently, but I hardly need to do it anymore since everything works so well. There are wome places where it doesn't save the password, but maybe the new update fixes this. The autofill with different identities is great for different credit cards and locations (work/home), but only gets it right (all info in the right boxes) about 50% of the time. However, this is much better than entering everything by hand 100% of the time.
Now, I never got around to trying to sync this with my palm (treo), mainly because with the .mac syncing all my computers I use now have the same password information on them. I don't need to have the passwords on my Palm since my laptops sync with my desktops via .mac!
Also, the price seemed (to me) to be in line with the others (especially when they charge extra for the Palm side). After I'd dished out for the others and didn't use them, this was a much better deal.
