@ Desmond Rf Foulger "MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR OLD VIRTUAL WINDOZE MACHINE!!!! I purchased the new version a few days ago to save $10.00. Now when I run the new version, after parallels tools is installed, the application unexpectedly quits. I have tried several times with version 2.5 backups and converting to version 3.o with the same result each time.
Mac Pro, 10.4.9,Windoze XP Pro, 4 Gb RAM, 1900X video card"

I have exactly the same problem…

Crashs for me too. Badly, and corrupts the windows virtual machine. Ive totally lost my Vista VM, but luckily my XP VM is backed up. Ive tried everything to get copies of the backup to work, and wasted a day in the process.

I cant believe I paid (good money) for this disasterous upgrade.

I should have spent my money on VMWare.

It crashs now... - KeesW

iMac 20" 2.0GHZ CD.
It was crashing on installing Parallels Tools. Then started crashing directly after booting into XP.
Managed to make it check the C-drive at startup and found and repaired errors. Reinstalled the ParallelsTools, successfully this time, and things have been running smoothly since then. Of course I haven't used it extensively, yet, as I fortunately don't have to use Windows that often.
