Saft allowed me to disable "AutoComplete always on" and thus, the nasty URL auto-completion of Safari does not nag me any more. Previously, the only workaround I knew of was to press the space bar once before typing the URL. Now Saft does the job for me. I appreciate this very convenient feature indeed.
