PowerPC G5 with OS X 10.4.9. Within seconds of launching Adobe Reader 8.1 quits. I had the same problem with 8.0. I have had to revert to Adobe Reader 7.0.9.

Quits within seconds of launching - chorizo--2008

Reader 8.0.0: Same with me--Power PC G5 and quits on launch. Works fine on my PowerMac G4. I'll see if 8.1 is any better.

I downloaded 8.1 and it does the same thing--quits at launch.
