Rapidweaver is ALMOST a great app, but having owned it - and paid for upgrades twice - in the last two years, I have never yet been able to use it. 3.6.1 STILL crashes with a bug which has been around since V.3.0, when you have aliased Quicktimes in a page. And since the web page I want to make will include Quicktimes, this is a doorstop of an app for me until that's fixed. BUT, it will work beautifully for many other sites.

Admins, can we please have a basic intelligence test for new users before they are allowed to rate software here? Boy, oh boy...Wednesday, June 06 2007 @ 12:49 AM PDT

You really are a bunch of flaming trolls, aren't you? Chances are high that I've been using software for longer than you've had wet dinners, sonny boy. Try a VAX PDP-11 on for size.Software that fails to deliver claimed basic functionality for two years, while charging you for each update to find that out, gets a rap on the knuckles no matter how strong the fanboy-base. RW will be a great app soon, but for now, it gets slapped around a bit and told to wise itself up.

So, is it fixed now? - mjsickel_
The 3.6.2 update may fix this problem. You shouldn't have needed to pay for updates to see if it were fixed: just download it and demo it with up to 3 pages and see if it's fixed. For me, 3.6 changed the way captions on photos are made (to a way that seems backwards to me). I found out by trying the demo and have stuck with 3.5 since the new version would make me have to change quite a bit of stuff without any real benefit for my purposes.

Has phenomenal potential, but has never worked yet for me - Jeff Mincey
You yourself say Rapidweaver "is almost a great app" whereupon you then proceed to give it the LOWEST possible overall rating. Now this simply makes no sense and one doesn't have to be a troll to point this out.

So based on ease of use, support, and price, you give five stars, but all because of ONE bug you cite in your comments, you give an OVERALL rating of only ONE star? I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. You yourself say that for many web sites RapidWeaver is an excellent choice. I can see knocking off one star for an important bug, or perhaps even two stars if the bug is hugely important. But to give an overall raiting of only ONE star? That's for software which is absolutely awful and unusuable.
You have no business rating software.
