You have real guts, Jon... - Andreas..

Medals should be awarded to anyone who even attempts to download any version of Adobe Reader. IMO, your failed installation is evidence of your having a rather marvellous Guardian Angel. Are you aware of the multitude of items that would be installed in a host of strange places by an Adobe installer, making removal a near impossibility? Caveat, my friend, caveat.

If you haven't already done so, do spare the time to read some of the posts below. They refer to prior versions, but even so I think you will quickly be blowing a kiss at that Angel of yours!

Guts or stupidity? I finally realized that the installer did work because it gave me multiple copies of AR in my Applications folder. I all except one. I rarely use AR but it comes in handy sometimes.
