I tried to convert an mp4 file to avi format. When I saw that the conversion would take about 1300 minutes, I quit the program, set "Quality" to "Tiny", and tried again, just to see how long it would take this time. The program started, but there was no way to stop it. I had to force-quit it.

AUDIO_TS... - Rufus J
Uh....... this folder is nearly always empty and isn't even necessary! The DVD audio tracks are contained in the VOBs in the VIDEO_TS folder. It may have not properly transcoded the audio, but an empty AUDIO_TS folder is not a symptom of whatever problem there was.Sunday, June 24 2007 @ 11:55 AM PDT

I agree. Certain aspects of this program are still not very good. I tried to convert an avi movie file to DVD. Result - no sound. Audio_TS folder was empty. Then I converted it to mpeg2 file, and from there, to DVD. This time, the same folder was empty again but I got the sound and DVD played in a regular player. Looks like it cannot extract the audio from movie files; aiff format is not supported.Reply to This
