Used Product For: Less than a month

I have owned version 4 since it was released, but have been afraid to install it due to all the negative feedback on this page. Finally, a couple of weeks ago, I impulsively upgraded from version 3, and I'm VERY happy with the upgrade. I'm not doubting other people's experiences or perceptions, but much of what we read here is very subjective and sometimes based upon the chemistry created by the reviewer's particular mix of software. The UI is clearly unique, and I'd be happier with the older look, but the new look is still functional. Version 4, for me (running OS X 10.4.8 on a MacBook), is faster and more functional than version 3. It doesn't crash the computer or slow it down, and it is not hard for me to identify the desired text or images through those little portholes :-) .

I find the new version of iClip to be faster, more stable, and more compatible, than the previous version. Since I paid for it before it was even released, I'm certainly glad that I finally installed it. I surely am getting my money's worth.

By the way, I had planned on waiting for version 4.1, hoping it would address the many problems mentioned on this page, but with no update after the first few months, I emailed the developer to find out if one was in the works. I received a prompt reply; therefore, I believe a prior complaint that the developer is unresponsive is inaccurate or, at least, not universal.
