Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Yeah, Parallels is great. The best emulator on the market. But now they want nearly $50 to upgrade to version 3. I just bought version 2 for $79 a few months ago. Sure, the new features sound cool but they appear to be just incremental improvements. Another Windows rip off?

Nah, cheap at twice the price - anothersphere

$80 + $50 for a PC? Thats pretty cheap. You could always stick with Bootcamp which is presently free but hey it does not have the utility that Parallels has. I am a little concerned that Parallels releases 'builds' rather than beta's because quite often they have seemed very beta'ish. However in the main it works pretty darn well and beats having some nasty pc under my desk, or more accurately juggling two laptops!

Great but rip off upgrade - banman

Wow, you're not very smart are you? I don't want to get into anything, because I'm sure it'd too much for you. But, this software is not emulation, it's virtualization, and before you even know what you're dealing with. I'd rather you not use something you know nothing of.
