I took up backgammon again after a LONG absence, and then my partner persuaded me to try Acey Deucey. We play the analog way--outdoors, on the patio and I needed a way to practice but didn't want to play online.

This game is the perfect solution for me. It has an elegant interface and it's tons of fun. Yes, it's pricey, but well worth it for the enjoyment. And the the computer suggestions are a great learning tool.

To the reviewer who believes the computer opponent plays poorly: All I can say is that I'm challenged. There is a LOT of luck in Acey Deucy--that's part of what makes it so enjoyable (or infuriating!). Games tend, I think, to be won or lost by big margins. All I can say is, if you play enough, I think you'll find plenty of challenging games (and plenty of bad, as well as good, luck.)
