Can it translate Pages files to Word? Sometimes the Word export function in Pages fails to translate some formatting, and I was wondering if textsoap could do a better job.

Sounds like the sort of task that MacLink Plus Deluxe used to perform years back - translating or transforming one kind of document into the format needed by another 'brand' application. Say, MacWrite or Appleworks to Word, or vice-versa, graphic format 1 to format 2, etc.Not sure what their status is these days though.

While TextSoap works with the text in Pages, it is not a file translator.
Instead, it focuses on fixing up garbage characters and character formatting issues. The Deluxe edition can also find and change character styles.
