Upon launching, version 4.11 brings up the following error message: “The art file (Discus.ART4) was not found in the same directory as the program. Please move the art file into the same folder as the program file.” Well, everything is in the same folder, as has always been the case, and Discus refuses to launch. The previous version of the program still works fine. Am I the only person experiencing this problem?

Hi: Magic Mouse gave an alert a couple versions back that the Application must see the Artwork File.1. Try dragging the files in the folder one at a time to the desktop until folder is empty. The drag them back one at a time and try opening the application again by clicking directly on the application and not in the dock. If this does not work got to step 2.
2. Drag the Artwork file from the DVD-rom (it calls it a CD by the but there is almost 2 GB of Data on the DVD data disc. This Artwork file is almost a GB so it will take a couple of minutes. Also Drag the Application 4.07 Try is to open the application 4.07 again. Then update you file to 4.11 and you should have no problem. If not then you do go to step three.
3. Magic Mouse/Discus is a great company with the best product on the market. On the DVD (Discus CD) at the bottom is a Phone Number 1-415-669-7010 and call them during business hours (this is Memorial Day weekend) and they will help you or send you a new Disc etc.
They also have email support and it is "support@magicmouse.com". If you email over this weekend you will get a response by Wednesday Morning (Remember they are closed until Tuesday).
While program was in Beta, I emailed a problem and within three hours they emailed back to download an update. I have used Discus since they started and their service is the best. They said a word of code was out of place and thank me. This was for using a shortcut for adding the © symbol.
By the way I teach a class in using Discus in San Francisco two Saturdays per month. The program gets a five star rating even with my students on windows machines. It is the best program available and I sorry you are having problems
