Product Requirements:
Mac OS X 10.2 or higher
This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:
Mac OS X 10.2
Mac OS X 10.3
Mac OS X 10.3.9
Mac OS X 10.4 PPC (shouldn't this be removed???)
SwitchDock seems to have been downgraded from 3.0 yesterday, to 2.0 today (or was that just a genuine error?), just downloaded the file again and inside is a file called "Tiger Incompatibility.rtf", which when opened states "Please Note: SwitchDock is currently not compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger."
How about providing the correct information so that people don't waste their time downloading software which looks like it may be beneficial to them, only to find it won't run on their system?
Sorry to be a nag, but this has wasted quite a bit of my time pointing out what I would perceive as an obvious error.
Incorrect product requirements information! - Joe_Pagliaro
Version 3.0 was not released publicly on May 23, 2007. A preliminary link was briefly posted to the website in preparation, and someone seemed to have inadvertantly grabbed it. Consequently the update sites posted it. But I can assure you we never submitted 3.0 to the database because it isn't ready yet. I have made every effort to correct the problem, but that took some time. However, Version 3.0 is being prepared for release, and it is hoped that when it is available it will resolve all of the issues that some users have mentioned here, and by private communication, which we are concerned about. I think it's a great idea, and I hope the problems can be resolved. The product is designed to run on the advertsied operating systems, but some users seem to be finding problems more frequently on Tiger.
Of course we're sorry for wasting anyone's time.
