1) First: tried latest version of BitRocket. Opened fine, crashed when opening a torrent. RIIIIGHT.

2) Heard that it might help to trash prefs file. Did that, tried again: same result.

3) Went to BitRocket site, only version offered for download was the latest one. Undeterred, I found and manually entered the URL of the "releases" directory. Decided to humor myself and downloaded all versions in the directory (about 10 or so).

4) Tried running each and every version (remembering to trash prefs each time). They all did one of two things: i. didn't open at all! or ii. crashed on trying to open a torrent

5) Went to BitRocket site, registered at forum in the hopes of mentioning this debacle. Registration was validated. Logged in, then tried to post in their forum. Guess what: got the following error message every place I tried to post: "Sorry, you do not have permission to reply to that topic"

WTF is that all about??!!
