looks like a lot of hoopla for something really simple. Too much work to use the interface. There ought to be a better way to implement a feature like this without having to "think" about it, like a prefpane.

You're not doing it right. You're blaming the developer for making something great that you think should've been included in the OS. Think is very simple and doesn't require a pref pane.Reply to This
