Existing users, 
OnyX completely ruined my MacBook Pro C2D.
Function keys 1-10 won't work, can't adjust loudness, brightness, backlight anymore. The Shutdown-Box doesn't stay on screen. The developer's support is lacking, because he doesn't speak english well enough to make himself understood. Don't use this app. Seriously.

You might try going into System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard, and make sure to uncheck the box for "Use the F1 - F12 keys to control software features."That, rather than OnyX, is the likely culprit.

OnyX don't touch at these settings!!You can search a culprit elsewhere... Or perhaps it's your fault??
You have perhaps restarted while verification or before the end of maintenance!
A new VT user, first feedback, double feedback... Again, again... ;-))
