Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

Does anyone know whether they are still in business? I have been unable to connect with their website for over a month now.

Also, I am not remotely interested in DragThing as Workstrip's replacement—WorkStrip is vastly better for what I do, and does not hog screen real estate either. Thanks.

SoftChaos - blizzaster

Gee, according to the message from softchaos here :http://www.versiontracker.com/php/feedback/article.php?story=20060522195135759#comments

They have been diligently working on an update... probably for over a year now. Gosh, I bet it will be a good one. :-(

I still say Workstrip is abandoned.

And not only this then, they also make Webstractor, which I also use quite a lot. That app doesn't even show up on VT anymore, only on MacUpdate, with comments very similar like these.
A pity! I used Workstrip since OS 9.

SoftChaos - ankhank

Dang.

Something expired; I've had a paid copy of Workstrip for a very long time and kept updated. Now I'm getting popups the last two days saying that a second copy of Workstrip is running on my network so mine will be loaded with reduced features.

No network here, just one Macintosh. I guess he left a time bomb in the software before he went out of business, by mistake?

Anyone got a fix?
