Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

If you've got Stealth mode enabled in OS 10.4, why would you need IPNetSentry?
This app is useful for OS 10.3 and below but not needed in Tiger, right? Correct me if I'm wrong.
After all, this app is $60, why spend it if you don't need to.

Unneeded in Tiger? - Digitol3

The scope of what this app can do is far beyond the basic settings from the Finder. Also it's not a Firewall, it's a Sentry..much more intelligent security app.

IPNetSentryX has many features beyond the built-in firewall, so it just depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Firewall intrusion detector with detailed logging, traffic discovery, RBL import, Ethernet Bridging, fast NKE implementation, and so on.
