You mention that the download link didn't work. Please note that sometimes a user's email service may truncate the link. You can always try the following:

1) Click on the link that comes in the email--if that doesn't work, then
2) Cut and paste full link into your browser- If that doesn't work, then
contact the Prosoft sales team at sales@prosofteng.com and give them your serial number or your order number or just your name and we can look up your order and resubmit a new link for you--

For the issues you're seeing with the drive repair not being able to fix your system, I'd recommend contacting our support team to see if there are any other options in your case--
