The Chord Analyser, what had peaked my interest, is like the many chord name displaying tools for piano keyboards and guitar fret boards, available for free on the Net.
Selecting help menu items display only a blank screen. Search field gives no response. For help, you must use your browser but you first have to find the index.html file in the User Manual folder.
The user interface looks and feels old, like Mac software circa 1984 but with a bit of color. Its a tad frustrating to get used to.
The undo command is buggy. I deleted a note and moved a few notes. Menu states "undo undo". Clicking on it undoes my note move then undo menu says "undo note deletion" but selecting it reinstated my note move. It undoes only the last action yet remembers my deletion a while ago.
Notes cannot be dragged out of a chord to be placed elsewhere. Must be deleted from the chord. Can't drag a note into a chord, must select a new note.
Most other tools at this price range like Harmony Assistant offer better value and user experience.
