I think the update puts a virus or something on your computer that disables aperture from opening up if you know someone who can by pass the video card check to run on older machines like G4, if you call that old. Not only does the virus do that, if you use AppZapper to get rid of all aperture stuff and re-install, it still won't let it open up. This means you can never run Aperture again unless you buy a G5 and a fresh OS install. Virus apps could not clean the virus. I think I can live without Aperture. The ONLY thing I liked about it was how it enlarged pics with loosing anything. That's it, that's all I liked about it. The look of it is ugly as sin. All my Adobe stuff and plug-ins take care of all my needs. Now to get my money back.

Personally, I think it's astonishing beautiful. Lightroom, which I also own, is clunky, ugly, and far less fun to use...
