I have been trying for 4 hours to get media player to work on a Mac. First, I have to download a .sitx file. After searching the internet I find I have to get Stuffit expander to open (no alternative). So I try that - absolutely no luck. I keep signing up for the download, I keep getting told I will get an email with a download link.....nothing. I've tried two email addresses and get no response from them. I've sent them emails - no response. I've tried downloading .bin versions of the media player - still requires stuffit. I've tried downloading stuffit from other sites, but need Stuffit to unzip!!! This is plain nuts. All I want to do is install media player!! Stuff Stuffit and Stuff Microsoft for creating this download in a format that requires use of a crap product to make it work.

Did you get a fix for the problem? Agree with the sentiment about the hassle about downloading media player.Friday, June 01 2007 @ 08:17 AM PDT
