"User Cancelled The Extraction????"

Feedback Type: Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Everytime I try to start the extraction process, it terminates after I select a location, giving me a pop-up with the message "The User Cancelled The Extraction." I certainly did not! Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Well, I think I figured this out myself... when I first create a target folder via the "Save to..." option in the "File" menu, MtR begins to extract just fine. So, if anyone did experience this problem... this seems to be the solution. Cheers.

I have the exact same problem on my iMac G4 1Ghz 17" with OS 10.3.9.
The solution that always works for me is to go to Disk Utility
and run Repair Permissions. Then the DVD extraction
process will always work as intended. I have to do this
nearly every time I insert a new DVD. Never been able to figure
out why.
